I am born of one country, raised in another, of middling age, partnered, and childed.
I studied science, work in engineering, love math, play with language, and make art. I write stories - mostly science fiction - and sometimes I'm lucky enough to get paid for it. I've worked for 20 years as an electrical engineer in various fields including pattern recognition, machine intelligence, high speed communications, digital music, and medical devices.
I bike, hike, snowboard, scuba dive, and love being outside. I have been a DJ, an oil painter, and a mountain biker. I listen to everything from golden oldies to heavy metal to classical to electronica.
I read. A lot.
I am currently mortal and full of squishy organs, but I hope to outlive that.
I'm currently represented by Cameron McClure at Donald Maass Literary Agency.
